With a greater enjoyment in creating scenic application than actual running, a gradual deterioration of the layout's structure, plus a preference for a normal garden to enjoy, the layout finally lost its reason and was removed. Most of the model buildings were transferred to the Woody Bay Garden Railway to assist a quicker decoration of that layout.
